1.last week sat and sun, went to a "bengkel urutan mengurut" with my mother (i was forced 60%,) = boring, not actually practical as there were so many 'students' (mostly whom are makcik2, well this program was aimed for them) and yes the time spent was way to short, imagine someone getting a certificate for attending this thus, with high spirits offered their services, which later on caused their customers who before this was a ok to be in pain..you get the idea dont you?

2. the weekend before that = went to another program, it was called 'jejari bestari' (if i'm not mistaken), Farhana came along as well, in short we learned to sew beads and sequins, and believe me it isn't as easy as it seems (imagine sewing for a day just to finish some decoration on a scarf). Loved the food (well it venue was at Pulai Springs, so no wonder the food was scrumptious). Got a certificate again.

pros of attending : both the programs were free and yes, limited, got a conclusion that you should not waste your money on beads and sequents (dresses which have them tend to be expensive), and anyway by not purchasing these things you could avoid tabaruj (dresses which have these tend to be shiny and glittery). But on the other hand you should from time to time pamper yourself with a massage as there are many benefits (beware though, make sure they are really trained!- i.e= my mom went to pamper herself a few days back, the day after that she got pains).


cons of attending : i am required to sew on sequins and beads for our raya dreses (tengok tu..baru je kata tabaruj kan~huhu). And i am required to 'show' and 'practice' my not-so-good talents on my little sisters. no elaboration needed.
