konichiwa minna-san,

no..im not going to talk about 'art attack' although i really used to like the program when i was a kid..

so here's the real story:
went to this program, on this date at this avenue:

we made many things among them accessories, i.e earrings, necklaces and bracelets. these, believe me they were easy to make, the items needed however where quite hard to find as they are not sold in the everyday shops (except for the beads)

~here's the bracelet [which i liked the most], the earrings and necklace also has similar patterns [so there's no need to upload the photos]

we also made a 'bunga telur' (note: its a gift Malays give out to the guests during the wedding ceremonies)

my fingers hurt after finishing this (lets revise physics!.. Force/area= pressure :) ), and it seemed hours to do just one!The 'teacher' also said that she sells one of these for RM35.oo (at first i was shocked-really!~we could have eaten at least five meals). But after finishing one, i realized, that the effort used to make it was worth that sum. In this version, you put beads in the wire and do lots and lots of twists..here's the first few flowers that i made.

~hoho..they're not so pretty [I'm not really good at getting the twists to be identical to one another]--but in the end the result satisfied me [you don't actually see the many small mistakes i made, but nooo..I'm not taking any requests even if you pay RM50 per piece!~i cant even imagine how many i can make a day, 1, 2 or only 3 perhaps]

next: 'bekas bunga rampai'

and by the way, guess who the teacher was, it was aishah the singer (lol, i didn't know her before this :P)

~candid shot, there where so many cameras so i just took a shot as proof

and here's something which aishah made, they're pins, but also can be made into magnets, creative ne?

(p/s: gomen for the blurred and LQ pictures, i wrongly pressed the small picture button , and that means that you'll have to click on the picture for a better veiw >O< -anyway im currently fiddling around with phothoshop again) i showed the pretty bunga telor that i made to abah when i reached home, he on the other hand just took a glance and then continued his work,he did not admire it..oh well, pretty and beautiful are subjective~ some people love long necks. yes, looong necks>>

such as people in Thailand although nowadays the sum is lesser. i guess the new generations finally realize, that putting the cold, hard rings on their necks is a burden to them, mostly in carrying out their everyday activities, but yet some of them still carry out the tradition as its the only source of income for them (they get paid to put those rings on nowadays)

white teeth makes a smile nicer and many for this very reason spend thousands for treatment. But have you ever known that some ethnic groups in Vietnam, views black teeth as a symbol of beauty

~yikes..look at those teeth!

(and don't worry i also only knew this recently, through a documentary made by Singapore called x-culture~i love the show, Malaysia should also to programs like this, rather then those reality programs to seek potential singers, actors, and dancers! there are lots of those already!) Anyway, these people blacken their teeth by putting on a substance which is obtained buy burning a type of plant. The substance last for a few days and is first put on a girl usually during the preparation for her marriage. They also believe that's its a way to prevent tooth decay (really, wow~this would save a lot, no more toothpaste!-yay!)

~~urgh enough now, the durians are calling me, i guess i got carried away! the word 'beautiful' surely is subjective!
