Bismillah, and alhamdullilah..yuppie! at last the electricity is on again after some time which seemed like ages. I've just finished reading 'the memory's keepers daughter' at last. A tragic novel from the beginning that really provokes the readers emotions. Kim Edwards writing somewhat makes readers feel what the characters of the story where facing through every moment, and believe it its a 'he' we're talking about here. Back to the story, the synopsis is mainly about David's life- a bone surgeon, how he had meet and fallen for his wife, Norah, married her and about how he had delivered his very own twin babies, Paul who he had tried to love and care for dearly in his own way and Phoebe who he had given away due to down syndrome and because of his own dark past, hidden deep inside himself. Ok i think I'll stop here - I'll spoil the curiosity of readers if i carry on like this wont i?bottom line- the story is deep in language (not literature, what i mean is that it full of 'ayat yang berbunga-bunga'- and has many details) so don't worry it isn't hard to understand.
Now enough about fiction stories..lets go to real life mode...
A week has passed by since my feet landed once again on a place i call home and i was eager to write something in this somewhat called blog of mine. I've realized that its been ages since i posted a new post, but somehow i never really bothered about it much(although I'm almost online everyday thanks to technology (whether wireless or not)). The assignment was over, this blog assignment was over and we had now the freedom to do as we pleased- whether to continue the blogs that we had created or simply delete them with a click of the mouse (easy huh?)- we had been given options. it didn't really matter to me what would become of this blog as i could just leave it like that to be what it has become (in other words i could just neglect(really is this the word?) it as i have done previously with my multiply-hehe-no offense.. its hard to keep these online things going and up-to-date. But then again, I ask myself 'why not?',it doesn't do any harm, does it?, so here goes..
Yesterday was my little sister's "graduation" day (wow!they have graduations for small kids. she was only finishing kindergarten). At first i hesitated to come along (they're doing the ceremony at Nusa Mutiara again- I'm bored stiff with that place already) but finally i gave in and so became the photographer. Here's a picture of her.
so 'kawaii', isn't she?which reminds me of a video which was sang by a Japanese band named hey!Say!7..the kids were also cute!
so i think thats all for the time being..arigato for taking time to read.. :) -adios
*kawaii=cute in Japanese
