just a short entry..
went to an aquarium today..the one next to wet world S.A, although the driver and the passengers didn't actually even plan to go there. But since class was canceled (we waited around 45 minutes!) the driver said whey not, while waiting for the 'souk al-Lail'= night market, to open..
the 'trip' was like our first time to the zoo, everyone was excited (almaklum, binatang2 dan fishes dah pupus, or nearly are around here, you can only get close and personal with one while eating..alah you know I'm talking about ikan goreng :) ) anyway we seldom get to go out anywhere these days (this includes to shop for essential things..kira ada roti and mentega jela dalam bilk tu, since jam pon dah habis)..
anyway, there were lots and lots of fishes, some suitable for cooking purposes i.e=ikan patin putih (really?), while some weren't. there were some other animals also, i.e hamsters though only a few and lots of tiny winy baby turtles which cost RM6 each (oh, i forgot to mention there were also worms, tons of them squirming all over in a huge open box).
everyone looked at the giant fishes at the aquarium's entrance and compared it to syairah, memang sah sekali ngap je ikan tu boleh telan sahabatku yang sorang ni..We saw some fishes that we have never heard or seen before i.e the elephant nose fish.
but what got my attention the most were the tetra fishes again. Subhanallah. I just stared at them swimming in different tanks in their own schools (fishes have schools, don't they?). the colours were magnificent. Its a shame though that these types of fishes needed more 'oxygenated water'(..urm, is that the correct term?) which means that buyers need to buy a pump in order to keep them alive.
to end this entry, a friend bought a few small fishes a fish tank and also some fish food which in total amounted to more or less RM20.she was happy, we were also happy..
latest update: 27/3= one of her fishes had recently died
